The money came from
block zero.

BARC launched on Arc on 9 September 2026. The wallet that deployed it was one day old. Its money was four months old, and it traces in four hops to a wallet that held USDC in Arc's genesis block.

Evidence

Evidence 01

The funder is not a retail wallet

The faucet has sent 6,966 USDC to 247 different wallets. The distribution is not flat.

  • The funder received 500 USDC and ranks 4th of 247.
  • One of the three addresses above it is not a person at all. It is the Uniswap v4 PoolManager, which the faucet seeded with 1,000 USDC. 0x8366a39cc670b4001a1121b8f6a443a643e40951
  • The 500 USDC arrived in two transfers on 2026-06-09. The first was 1 USDC at 14:47:15. The second, 33 minutes later, was 499.
Evidence 02

The funder does not behave like retail either

It is not a plain wallet. Its runtime code is 23 bytes:

Runtime code 0xef0100000000009b1d0af20d8c6d0a44e162d11f9b8f00

The 0xef0100 prefix is an EIP-7702 delegation marker. The wallet has pointed itself at a smart-account implementation, and that contract answers namespaceAndVersion() with Uniswap.Calibur.1.0.0.

0x000000009b1d0af20d8c6d0a44e162d11f9b8f00

Block explorers show this address as a contract with no creation transaction. That is the expected artifact of a 7702 delegation. Nothing was deployed. The wallet attached code to itself with one signature.

Its behaviour matches:

  • 15 transactions go to the Uniswap Universal Router.
  • 2 go straight to the v4 PoolManager.
  • 65 USDC has come back to it as swap proceeds.
  • In 43 transactions it has never deployed a contract.
Evidence 03

The source is the genesis block

The wallet at the top of the chain held 10,000 USDC at block 0. It holds nothing today and has made 19 transactions in total.

The decisive check is the start of the chain. In Arc's first 20,000 blocks there are exactly 8 native USDC transfers. All 8 come from that one address. For a stretch at the beginning of the chain, it was the only wallet moving money at all.

Evidence 04

The faucet has one backer

The genesis wallet did not top up the faucet once. It did it five times, for 3,500 USDC in total.

Time (UTC)Amount
2026-05-15 15:17500 USDC
2026-05-29 01:56500 USDC
2026-06-02 13:291,000 USDC
2026-06-02 20:13500 USDC
2026-06-09 11:541,000 USDC

The faucet has paid out 6,966 USDC across its whole life. 3,500 of that came from a single wallet that held USDC at block 0. This was not one transfer that could be waved away as a handout. It was a standing arrangement.

Evidence 05

It was there 78 minutes after the chain opened

Arc's genesis block is stamped 2026-05-12 00:00:00 UTC. Block 1 did not arrive until 2026-05-15 13:58:51 UTC. The chain sat still for three and a half days between them.

That gap is the genesis file being written and held before the network was switched on. Whoever was allocated USDC in it knew about the chain before the chain was running.

  • First real block: 2026-05-15 13:58:51.
  • Genesis wallet funds the faucet: 2026-05-15 15:17:24.
  • Gap: 78 minutes.

On the first day the chain produced blocks at all, that wallet was already moving money.

Evidence 06

This money was never bridged

Arc's inbound corridor is gated. A raw public burn does not receive an attestation, so the obvious question is how any of these wallets have money.

The timing answers it.

EventTime (UTC)Block
Genesis wallet funds the faucet 2026-05-15 15:17:24 9,327
CCTP first used on Arc 2026-05-19 19:45:30 718,542

The money was moving on Arc four days before the bridge was used once. It did not cross a bridge. It was allocated at genesis.

Three steps

How to buy
on Arc

Gas is USDC. No new token to buy just to move.

01

Add Arc to your wallet

Any EVM wallet works. Add the Arc network, or hit connect on a dapp and let it add itself.

02

Bridge USDC over

Use CCTP to move USDC to Arc. It's the native gas token, so that's the only thing you need.

03

Swap for $BARC

Open the DEX, paste the contract address above, swap. Done.

FAQ

We're saying what the chain says: the money that launched BARC traces in four hops to a wallet that held USDC in Arc's genesis block, and it never crossed a bridge to get there. Nobody has claimed the deployer. Read the evidence and draw your own conclusion.

No. BARC is a memecoin. It is not issued, endorsed or affiliated with Circle Internet Group, Inc. or anyone working on Arc.

It held 10,000 USDC at block 0, before there were users. In Arc's first 20,000 blocks there are exactly 8 native USDC transfers and all 8 come from it. And it was moving money four days before CCTP ran on Arc for the first time, so the funds could not have been bridged in.

0x4753c45fb550fecaa143a47968659117e6ffc2ce. It's in the buy section and nowhere else. Anyone DMing you a different one is robbing you.

That's how Arc works. USDC is the native gas token, so fees are stable and predictable and you don't need to hold anything else to transact.

No idea, and nobody who tells you otherwise does either. It's a dog with a ticker. Never put in more than you're happy to lose.
